SHARPENING SERVICE
Each sharpening service will include the following:
- Complete analysis of scissor
- Re-sharpening of blade edges to factory sharpness
- Replacement of set washer and rubber bumper/silencer if needed
- Cleaning, lubricating and inspection of all moving parts
- Tension adjustment
- A complete 'cut test' on dry hair and wet hair for slippage or pushing of hair
( Repair or replacement parts are extra and subject to availability )
Sharpening Pricing
Shear Restoration reserves the right to refuse service work on severely damaged or worn out scissors.
(Scissors including Thinning, or Texturizing Shears)
- $25.00 each pair
- Return Shipping & Handling Charge ( Up to 5 pair) -> $7.95
We recommend you insure your return shipping order.
USPO insurance rates are 2.60 for the 1st $100.00 of insurance
For additional insurance add $1.20 for each additional $100.00 dollars of coverage.
Example: Two pairs of scissors with $200.00 insurance coverage:
- $2.60 for the first $100.00 dollars
- plus 1.20 for the second $100.00 dollars
- total return shipping cost -> $7.95 (shipping) + $3.80 (insurance) = $11.75
Insurance is through the United States Postal Service and Insured shipments will require a signature for delivery.
